Badminton, being the fastest of all racquet sports requires fleet of foot, lightning fast reflexes, tremendous body balance, excellent reach, and a quick mind. Devised during the Greek Olympics, its now popular form was developed during the late 19th century, and progress hasn’t waned ever since.

RULES:

  • Each college can send in a maximum of 2 teams in each of the categories.
  • Each match before semi finals will be best of three sets, each set of 15 points. Thereafter the matches will be best of five sets.
  • If tied on 13 game extends to 18.
  • If tied on 14 game extends to 17.
  • All teams are advised to be on court before 15 min to the scheduled time.
  • All decisions taken by umpires and organisers will be final and binding.
  • Rest of the rules is standard

Note: Badminton will be played with plastic shuttlecock - "yonex mavis 303"
