Kabaddi is an exhibition of human strength and vigour, a raw display of physical effort, which has been one of the main sources of entertainment throughout ancient Indian history. It has now evolved into an international sport, which attracts able bodied men to pit their prowess against worthy opponents.
Rules :
- Each team comprises seven main players and three extra players.
- Each team is given chance for raid alternately. Raider has to start their raid within 8sec. after the whistle of referee. If raid is not done by the respective team within 8sec. then the chance is passed to the other team.
- If the number of player in the ground is 5 or more than 5, and raider touch the bonus line then one bonus point will be given to the raider team.
- Suppose if the last player is out by the any team then at the end two more point will be given to that team as a extra bonus point.
- The duration of the game is 15 minutes. It is divided into two halves of 7.5 minutes each. During this period each team can take three times time out of 1minutes. But the time out can be taken by the captains only. Also the substitution can be done by the captain only by informing the referee.
- During raid, only “kabaddi………. kabaddi…………..” Sound is allowed to use.
- Rest of the rules is standard.
