This sport has no doubt become the most popular sport to be played in our country. With India winning the World Twenty-20 cup, its popularity has skyrocketed to heights one would never have expected it to, be it in shady alleys with twigs as wickets, or under the blinding floodlights of stadiums. We, at IcfaiTech, have come up with our very own version of the game, with some minor tweaks here and there. We hope it will make the game just a little bit more interesting.

RULES:

• A team should consist of 10 members, 8 on field, 2 extra.
• Any batsman who scores more than 35 will have to retire; he can bat for a second time only when all other members are out.
• Matches will be of 6 over’s aside wherein each bowler can bowl a maximum of one over.
• There are no field restrictions.
• Wide and no balls will add 2 runs to the score of batting team.
• A no ball is followed by a free hit given to the batting team.
• All the matches will be played with leather balls (for boys) & tennis balls (for girls)
• Teams are requested to bring their own kits and be in proper cricket uniform.
• The entire tournament will be played on knockout basis.
• A maximum of 16 teams can register on a first come first serve basis.
• All remaining rules will be standard with an exception of LBW that is ruled out of the tournament.
