Interested in covering various events happening at your IcfaiTech Campus? Do you love writing and believe that its the best way of expressing? Do you need a medium to reach out to millions and speak your mind? If you have been nodding to all these questions like Noddy then here's an oppurtunity for you. First you must qualify the following points:

• You are a student at any of the IcfaiTech centres accross the country.
• You have a strong hold over written english language.

That's it, if you qualify the above mentioned two points, Voila! you are in. Now following are answers to some FAQs. Hope it gives you a clear picture.

What am I supposed to do as a Student Reporter?

Nothing as in designing rockets or writing journals. All you are required to do is, whatever you see happening around you in campus and you feel it should reach out to all, just pen it down. The NEWS peice can be a simple event, cultural functions, various developments in campus broadly speaking anything new happening in your campus. It can also be your views on simple things like Junior-Senior interaction, Life @ Icfaitech, Hostel/Mess blunders. Just anything until it is related to the college in someway and most importantly makes a difference to the reader.

How the articles should be written?

You are expected to write the articles in simple, easily understandable English. Please avoid any unnecesary long sentences or the use of what we Indians say Hi-Fi words. Proper grammer and spelling is what should be concentrated on. If you have pictures related to your article, not more than 2-3 pics should be submitted.

How long can an article be?

An article should be a minimum of 150words. There is no maximum limit, so you can write your heart out. Just keep a check that you dont make the reader doze off. heh!

How do I submit articles?

Articles are to be mailed to destinyspride@gmail.com with the subject as "NEWS article". The article will take couple of days to be published online. Also before covering an event or writting an article please inform your concerned topic. So that no two people end up writing on the same event.

What is expected from me?

You are expected to write spontaneously and cover an event/news at the earliest. Not being lazy, writing in a crisp and may be a funny way, also direct dil se...

How do I register myself for Student Reporter?

Finally you have come upon the most important question. It's simple...just send in a mail to destinyspride@gmail.com specifying your Name, ID Number, Icfaitech Centre.

Icthalon.com will hold rights to all the articles submitted and may make changes in the article without losing the actual essence. It is not guaranteed that every submitted article will be published. Only deserving and worthy articles will be published.
